Job summary

PBG is seeking a Deputy Program Support Manager to lead day-to-day operations and staffing across a large on-site workforce in the Washington, DC area. The role supports the Contract Program Support Manager and ensures continuity, performance, and compliance with security requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in management within high-volume environments, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to coordinate multi-team operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six years of progressive management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Three years managing a team of Headquarters size.
• Three years managing a seasonal or temporary workforce.
• Three years of experience using the MS Office suite.
• Ability to prepare reports and documents for internal/external use.
• On-site Washington, DC work requirement and ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Proposal-ready resume with complete month/year dates.

Responsibilities

• Act for the Contract Program Support Manager when delegated.
• Coordinate daily operations across teams and workstreams.
• Track staffing, attendance, schedules, and performance.
• Lead operational meetings and action-item tracking.
• Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and backlog.
• Prepare management plans, monthly reports, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders on workload balance.
• Enforce privacy, security, and conduct standards.
