Job summary

Amazon in New York is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional, technology projects within the Sub-Same Day Delivery program. You will scope projects, drive execution, and report status and risks to senior management.

You will coordinate with global stakeholders, develop KPIs, and design scalable processes while partnering with senior leaders to deliver fast, reliable delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
• Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to proactively identify, optimize, track and report performance.
• Developing and utilizing data inputs and KPI’s to inform operational adjustments.
• Define and create processes that will scale to meet growing business demands.
• Partnering with Directors, Senior Managers, and other key operational and technical leaders across the organization.
