Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Sr. Program Manager of Execution & Staffing Operations within the Quantum Sensing Solutions group.

This leader will oversee growth of a multidisciplinary technical organization, drive hiring to meet execution demands, and coordinate staffing across programs from proposal through end of life. The role requires broad engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical, systems, firmware, and physics, plus exceptional leadership, communication, and talent development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline is required.
8+ years as a leader or program manager in hardware R&D.
8+ years as a functional leader of engineering or research talent.
5+ years in hiring for deep technical talent.
Ability to lead engineers and scientists across competing priorities.
Strong understanding of engineering development processes and risk management.
Experience scaling deep technical teams to meet growth needs.
Strong resource planning and organizational development capabilities.
Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own functional resource planning and allocation across multiple programs.
Drive technical hiring from requisition through hire with HR and leaders.
Align engineering capacity and schedules to current and future programs.
Identify capability gaps and develop build, hire, or outsource strategies.
Anticipate future engineering needs and develop talent upfront.
Resolve cross-program resource conflicts and ensure critical efforts get resources.
Develop and monitor engineering performance indicators and risk.
Build and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
Define org structure and leadership for current and future needs.
Recruit and develop exceptional engineers and scientists.
Translate strategic objectives into executable resourced plans.
Define staffing processes scalable to large growth.
