Job summary

Viasat Government - Secure Network Systems (SNS) seeks an experienced program manager to lead the design, development, qualification, certification, and transfer to production of secure networking and communication appliances for government customers.

You will manage diverse engineering teams across multiple locations, mitigate risks, and maintain strong customer relationships from inception to completion. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Program Management supporting Government programs.
• 5+ years' experience in leading technical teams.
• Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors as part of deliverables.
• Proven ability to monitor and manage program milestones, risks, issues and decisions.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to design, develop, qualify, certify, and transition secure networking appliances for government customers.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams across multiple organizations and locations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage program communications with internal teams and external customers, and monitor customer satisfaction and program profitability.
