Job summary

Viasat Government - Secure Network Systems (SNS) is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead government encryption hardware programs. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams across multiple locations, manage milestones, risk, and customer relationships from inception to production.

The role requires 10+ years in government program PM, 5+ years leading technical teams, DoD secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25%. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Program Management supporting Government programs.
• 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience with suppliers and subcontractors as part of deliverables.
• Proven ability to monitor program milestones, risks, issues and decisions.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to design, develop, qualify, certify, and transition to production secure networking and communication appliances for government customers.
• Coordinate diverse engineering teams across locations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage risks, issues, and customer communications throughout the program lifecycle.
