Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the Prime Program within the Digital Technology Program Management Office in the United States. You will drive execution of complex projects, manage scope, risk, and communications, and partner with technical leaders to align schedules and milestones.

Qualifications

• University degree with 10+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time
• 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project
• Experience partnering with customers, stakeholders, and teams to deliver complex systems and services
• Experience implementing management systems for portfolios of projects including program financials, risk/opportunity, schedule and scope
• Demonstrated program management experience preferred
• Experience with program management systems including resource management, program scheduling, cost controls such as Planview preferred
• Experience in government and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of aerospace policies, procedures, and system requirements including quality, manufacturing and program management preferred
• Experience interfacing with internal customers preferred
• Experience using change management frameworks and methodologies preferred
• Understanding of digital transformation topics and technologies preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the Prime Program within the Digital Technology Program Management Office
• Ensure effective execution of committed projects in the portfolio
• Drive processes and meeting cadences for scope management, risk and opportunity management, financial reporting, technical reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications
• Manage program financials with controllers, financial analysts, and Digital Technology functional leads
• Analyze financial and delivery data to ensure teams are delivering to plan
• Partner with Digital leaders on resource assignments and integrated schedules and milestone commitments
• Lead teams in developing and implementing risk mitigations and issue resolution
• Lead teams in developing effective stakeholder communications
• Partner with Collins Digital Technology leaders, Collins functional partners, and RTX Enterprise Services
• Lead multi-million-dollar projects, program reviews, executive communications, and stakeholder conversations
