Job summary

Umbra Lab Inc. in Arlington, VA, seeks a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of national security remote sensing programs delivering mission-critical imagery and data products to DoD and IC customers.

You will translate mission needs into executable plans, manage cost, schedule, and performance, and build deep customer partnerships. This role requires TS/SCI, 5–8+ years, and the ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related STEM or business field.
• 5–8+ years of program management or comparable leadership experience in aerospace/defense.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a read-in within the past two years.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programs and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with U.S. Government customers, captures, proposals, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of U.S. national security remote sensing programs with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical and operational performance, contractual commitments, and customer delivery.
• Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk and opportunity registers; lead reviews; provide assessments of health and outlook.
• Serve as primary interface for DoW/IC customers and build trusted relationships across offices and end users.
• Engage with analysts, operators, and end users to translate mission workflows into program improvements and growth opportunities.
• Partner with mission operations, engineering, product, and finance to ensure reliable execution and delivery of imagery and data products.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, capacity, and delivery performance; drive corrective actions.
• Bridge between customers and Umbra's product/engineering teams to translate needs into requirements and capabilities.
