Job summary

The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead moderate programs and drive project planning, cost, scope and schedule with internal and external stakeholders.

You must have 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning, engineering of products or processes or contract management, a US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning, engineering of products or processes or contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or 2 additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a degree.
• United States Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
• Ability to travel as per business needs.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, determines, and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program/project elements.
• Provides expertise to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to program/project issues.
• Develops cost, scope, and schedule framework for projects and program activities; manages and intervenes as necessary to ensure delivery to cost, scope, and schedule agreements.
• Drives primary support and guidance to the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, and preparation and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning.
• Coaches and Mentors program/project managers and other team members.
