Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency in Fort Meade, MD seeks a senior HR/mission-support leader to direct a multi-functional portfolio and oversee about 250 personnel. You will supervise via division chiefs, manage the full spectrum of human resources duties, and serve as the reviewing official for evaluations.

You will formulate and enforce DISA-wide policies, assess effects on morale and productivity, and represent the command in high-level forums to secure resources and advocate needs.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience leading and managing a comprehensive HR and mission-support organization.
• Experience representing an organization before senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Experience establishing, interpreting, and enforcing policies related to multiple mission-support operations such as security, civilian payroll, personnel transportation, reasonable accommodations, and anti-harassment programs.
• Time-in-Grade: 52 weeks as a GS-14 or higher in Federal Service.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and integrate a multi-functional mission support and administrative operation portfolio, overseeing ~250 personnel.
• Direct the workforce through division chiefs, handling full HR duties and employee evaluations.
• Formulate and enforce DISA-wide policies, assessing impact on morale and productivity.
• Represent the command in high-level planning forums with DoD, federal agencies, and Congress to secure resources.
• Exercise direction over a globally dispersed workforce, guiding security, manpower, civilian/military personnel, and accommodations programs.
