Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the Specimen Management portfolio within IDS. Based in Franklin Lakes, NJ, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive new product development and sustaining engineering, ensuring execution, quality, and market success.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and risk while guiding product architecture and interdependencies. Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory experience are essential for success in this critical PMO role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in project management leadership for product development within a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Create project schedules, resource requirements, risk management plans, integrated business plans, and product requirements.
• Lead cross-functional development of product architecture, synthesizing functional plans and identifying interdependencies.
• Guide daily activities, track progress, manage project budget, and mitigate risks.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment across teams.
