Job summary

NYC Department of Design and Construction seeks a Senior Project Administrator for the Division of Infrastructure in Manhattan/Citywide. Reports to Deputy Director and tracks project progress from pre-design through construction, maintaining data and coordinating with agencies to keep projects on schedule.

This role requires strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination across design phases, with emphasis on permits, funding, and meetings. U.S.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time supervisory experience in project management on engineering/architectural/landscape projects valued at $1,000,000+.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture/etc with one year of project management experience; or
• High school diploma with five years of qualifying project management experience; or
• High school diploma plus combinations to make five years education/experience as described above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress and ensure projects stay on or ahead of schedule through design and construction phases.
• Maintain project data in agency database through lifecycle.
• Coordinate pre-design and design phase issues including permits, facilities, acquisition and funding; attend scope and bid meetings.
• Prepare project documents, notify community boards and elected officials, and interact with client agencies.
