GEODIS in Winchester, VA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead onboarding, implementation, and portal management for customers and suppliers. The role supports Business Development and contract eligibility, while aligning global standards with local needs.

You will handle global pricing sourcing, government certifications, and compliance reviews, ensuring project profitability. This hybrid, full-time position offers growth within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant freight forwarding experience (Government & Defense preferred)
• Senior management experience in international logistics/sales environments
• In-depth knowledge of 3PL and supply chain management
• Strong financial management capabilities
• Extensive national and international networks a plus
• Solid project and risk management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee Customer Onboarding and Implementation, plus profile and supplier portal management
• Support Business Development and contract eligibility assessments, identify transport and digital solutions
• Coordinate global pricing sourcing and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Manage Government-specific certifications and perform compliance and legal reviews of contracts
• Prepare customer MBR/QBR/ABR as needed and adapt global standards locally
• Identify local needs and ensure local implementation aligns with global standards
• Ensure profitability of projects and jobs executed

Your role on the team: (job description)

• Manages Customer Onboarding, Implementation, as well as profile and supplier portal management
• Supports Business Development, Contract opportunity eligibility, and identifies transport and digital solutions

What you need: (requirements)

• Requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, preferably 10+ years of Government & Defense vertical experience
• Needs preferably senior management experience in an international business environment in logistics and sales industrial handling Government & Defense business
• In depth knowledge of 3PL and supply chain management
• Proficiency in financial management.
• Strong national network, inside and outside of Geodis. International network will be an advantage
• Strong project management and risk management
