Job summary

Akira Technologies Inc. seeks a Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team delivering Agile mission support for NTIA. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, and interfaces with government counterparts, ensuring quality and compliance across all activities.

The role requires a PM leader with a strong track record in federal programs, capable of navigating dynamic priorities and reporting requirements. Hybrid work in Washington, DC, with eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PMP certification.
• 7+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years on large government contracts.
• Experience leading diverse teams and managing budgets over $3M.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract and project execution including planning, budgeting, staffing and compliance.
• Interface with Contracting Officer, COR, TPOC, and NTIA stakeholders.
• Direct staffing, workloads, and cross-functional coordination for mission support.
• Monitor milestones, labor-hour use, quality metrics, and risks; adjust as needed.
• Lead kickoff activities and coordinate government meetings and reviews.
• Prepare monthly status reports on accomplishments, staffing and risks.
• Maintain risk/issue/action tracking with mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with NTIA offices to align activities with priorities.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliverables meeting federal standards.
• Foster collaborative, ethical, high-performing team culture.
