Job summary

Tekniforce is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead high-visibility, large enterprise implementations in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role spans both business and technology workstreams and is a 12-month contract to hire with hybrid onsite/remote work.

You will oversee multi-million-dollar portfolios, including insurance core-system and PAS transformations, and drive delivery through a complex ecosystem of vendors and internal teams. PMP/PgMP or agile certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of dedicated program management experience leading large enterprise initiatives.
• Demonstrated history of delivering complex, multi-year programs to go-live.
• Extensive background managing offshore/onsite vendor models and reviewing SOWs.
• Experience with contract/SOW governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Vendor-Led Delivery Oversight: primary accountability for external SIs, software providers, and consultants.
• Contract & SOW Governance: manage complex vendor agreements, milestones, and SLAs.
• Multi-Vendor Integration: orchestrate delivery across multiple vendors with collaboration.
• Healthy Friction Management: challenge vendors while maintaining partnerships.
• Rigorous Scope & Change Control: evaluate change requests for impact on timelines and architecture.
• Dependency & Risk Management: map interdependencies and maintain risk/issue register.
• Proven Delivery Execution: own delivery lifecycle from inception to go-live.
• Financial & Program Forecasting: track budget, burn-rate, and variance analyses.
• Executive Steering Committees: provide data-driven status updates and critical decisions.
