Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead large enterprise initiatives. You will oversee cross-functional teams, define objectives, and ensure timely delivery across multiple work streams within the corporate PMO.

The role requires strong project management, data visualization skills and the ability to drive risk mitigation while communicating clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 10+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities.
• 3+ years of program management with interdependent projects.
• Strong project management and data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet and other PM software.
• Ability to identify and resolve cross-track program issues and risks.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and train team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance priorities under deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with large programs in Grocery or Retail (highly desired).
• Experience in construction project management (highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large enterprise programs with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Define program objectives, scope, and business requirements.
• Develop program structure with stakeholders, resources, and deliverables.
• Maintain artifacts: schedules, risk tracker, decision logs, budgets.
• Analyze objectives and manage dependencies across teams and projects.
• Perform ongoing program-level risk management and mitigation.
• Escalate issues to Sr Leadership when needed.
• Create stakeholder communication plans and status reports.
• Provide leadership to project managers across the program.
• Enhance PMO rhythms, tools, reporting, and standards.
• Build out Smartsheet environment and documentation.
