Job summary

Draper seeks an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead complex, full lifecycle programs in a defense-oriented environment. You will own execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance, acting as primary customer liaison and coordinating with Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include developing baselines, resource planning, and driving continuous improvement while building strong customer partnerships and leading reviews to meet all requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, business, or related technical field.
• 7 years of professional PM experience in commercial or defense industry.
• Current / in-scope Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain program-specific accesses as required.
• Able to travel on an as-needed basis.
• Experience managing medium to large projects/programs with cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Responsibilities

• Own overall program execution, including cost, schedule, and technical performance targets.
• Establish program performance measurement baseline.
• Develop and update resource allocation plans; recruit and develop talent.
• Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Serve as primary customer contact and lead reviews to ensure scope and requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage suppliers and performance.
• Identify opportunities, risks, and issues related to cost, schedule, and technical deliverables.
• Build strong customer partnerships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership to maintain high team morale and engagement.
• Participate in contract negotiations, reporting, and changes.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System and customer requirements.
