Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a Lead, Program Management to drive cross-functional execution of NextGen Tactical Datalinks programs. You will own the cost, schedule, resourcing, and performance of assigned programs by leading teams across PM, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Finance, Quality, Security, and more.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to present status updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 14 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans that include schedules, milestones, procurement, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial (P&L) objectives.
• Acts as primary contact for program activities, leading program review sessions discuss cost, schedule, technical performance and risk.
• Manage external relationships with the Government, Prime Contractors, and International customers.
• Leads Program Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks that could impact program technical, cost and schedule performance.
• Responsible for budget management and financial execution of the program.
• Develop and manage accurate programmatic and financial forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
