Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Tennessee is seeking a Program Manager to direct large, multi-disciplinary programs from inception to completion, coordinating recruitment, training, and performance, and ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance.

You will negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, establish milestones, and partner with customers to review progress. Strong leadership and DoD program/OPS experience required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance required at Secret Level.
• Experience with CAM (Control Account Management).
• Experience managing plans, budgets, and performance deliverables for DoD programs.
• Ability to apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Strong communication and leadership across technical, manufacturing, and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and salary actions for project staff.
• Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of programs or major subsystems.
• Participate in contract negotiations and changes; prepare proposals and financial terms.
• Lead program reviews with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and performance.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans; resolve program problems.
