Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Littleton, CO is seeking a qualified Program Manager to coordinate proposals, budgets and technical performance for major programs. You will lead integrated product teams, interface with customers, and ensure adherence to cost, schedule and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, PMI-style management experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with project and/or program management including Earned Value Management, schedule management, critical path analysis and risk/opportunity management.
Ability to obtain a security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
