Job summary

Autoneum is seeking a Program Manager II to lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Sales, and R&D to meet program requirements. The role interfaces with customer design and release engineers and directs the program team to ensure quality, cost and planning objectives are met.

The position emphasizes leadership, budgeting, APQP/IATF compliance, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or economics.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with high-complexity projects and with project planning tools.
• Strong team building, communication and decision-making skills.
• Experience with problem solving and customer relationship management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and resources with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the program team and interface with customer design and release engineers.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Sales, R&D, HR, Systems Engineering.
• Manage program budgets, prototypes, tooling and launch readiness per APD expectations.
• Ensure timely design reviews, requirements, specifications and related documentation.
• Monitor and review program performance (cost, schedule, tooling) and escalate issues.
• Coach and train teams on program management methods and best practices.
• Maintain customer relationships and lead issue resolution and decision making.
