Job summary

Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead and expand the CUNY MTA internship program. You will manage budgets, contracts, and reporting while coordinating with campuses, employer partners, and stakeholders to widen access to high-quality, career-connected learning experiences.

The role emphasizes onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, and data analysis to measure outcomes and drive program improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Proactive, diplomatic and collaborative work style with strong interpersonal communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
• Dependable with effective organizational, time management and priority setting skills to manage multiple assignments and projects and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment.
• Demonstrated computer skills and experience with standard desktop tools (e.g., MS Office, Zoom).
• Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout NYC.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administration of program, ensuring effective program delivery and high-quality student experiences.
• Coordinate onboarding, payroll, and timekeeping processes for interns in collaboration with CUNY and RFCUNY teams.
• Track intern hours, address payroll inquiries, and support HR compliance.
• Lead information sessions, meetings, and stakeholder communications; provide high-quality customer service to students and partner agencies.
• Create and manage program budgets, fiscal planning, contracts, and financial reporting.
