Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Sr. Project Manager in the United States to lead the design and manufacturing of new connection systems products lines (HV Connectors, Inlets, Media Modules).

You will develop initial plans, set milestones, track activities, and communicate progress to stakeholders while coordinating with internal teams and customers. You will own the lifecycle, drive risk management, ensure on-time launches, and strive for profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience.
• Experience leading design and manufacturing across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with OEM processes and development cycles.
• Ability to work without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Achieve flawless launches with full ownership to deliver programs on-time, with quality and profitability.
• Serve as the program life cycle owner; bring strategy and holistic approach.
• Drive reviews/escalations, risk identification and mitigation, remove roadblocks.
• Support profitability goals with Directors and profit management collaboration.
• Act as customer contact for regular management communication and escalation.
• Manage multiple customers and complex products.
• Understand customer technology roadmap and build relationships with key customers.
• Support new business development activities.
