Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Selection team governs selection strategy and execution across Amazon's grocery portfolio. The Sr. PM will own the strategy and framework to enable improved, automated selection decisions with regional/local scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning strategy, end-to-end delivery, and presenting results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience in related fields.
• Experience with selection strategy, category management, or space planning.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Proven track record designing and implementing process automation solutions using AI/ML tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with significant business impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistency in assortment decisions across banners and regions.
• Partner with tech teams to develop shared tooling and selection models.
• Maintain customer obsession with standardized, mission-based selection logic.
• Create SOPs to track and optimize regional selection.
• Collaborate with Category, Product, Tech, and BI teams to implement selection strategy tools.
• Track, optimize, and report to senior leadership on selection workflow improvements and automation.
