Job description

MyndBridge is a workforce development organization that partners with schools, districts, employers, and government agencies to prepare students for careers. We deliver career-readiness and industry-certification programs — in grades 9 through 12 and beyond — that combine hands‑on training, nationally recognized credentials, and one‑on‑one case management to move students from the classroom into real jobs. We bring our programs directly into schools and community partners, and we work with employers to build the talent pipelines they need.

Position summary

The Senior Program Manager holds senior leadership over all MyndBridge program delivery — across schools, community sites, and our Queens training center — and is accountable for the quality, outcomes, compliance, and on‑time delivery of every program and grant. This role leads the program team, owns the relationship between what we promise our funders and what we deliver, and is the senior person responsible for making the programs run.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the day‑to‑day delivery of all programs — career readiness, industry certification pathways, and grant‑funded youth programming — across push‑in, after‑school, community, and destination‑site models.
  • Ensure every cohort meets its enrollment, retention, completion, credential‑attainment, and placement targets.
  • Standardize the program launch process, session model, and reporting cadence across all sites.
Team leadership
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the program team — the Case Manager, the Instructional Coordinator, instructors, and grant‑funded coordinators and specialists.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management across program staff and per‑cohort contractors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the accountable program lead for active grants.
  • Ensure programs meet all contractual deliverables, funding requirements, and reporting deadlines, and remain audit‑ready at all times.
  • Assist funder relationships and monitoring visits, and lead any corrective‑action response.
  • A plus, not a requirement: contribute to grant renewals and new funding proposals alongside leadership — if grant writing is a strength you bring.
Outcomes, quality & compliance
  • Monitor key performance indicators and intervene when a program falls below benchmark.
  • Hold overall accountability for program compliance, working with grant coordinators and a fractional Compliance/Grants Specialist who provide day‑to‑day documentation and reporting quality assurance.
  • Ensure embedded case management and the student experience meet MyndBridge standards throughout.
Cross-functional leadership
  • Advise Business Development on delivery feasibility and cost for new partnerships and contracts.
  • Coordinate with Operations on scheduling and space, Finance on program budgets, and Marketing on participant recruitment.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, in workforce development, education, public administration, social services, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of program management, including direct leadership of grant‑funded programs and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing WIOA, DCJS, or similar public grants — deliverables, compliance, reporting, and monitoring visits.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding program outcome targets.
  • Strong people leadership, operational discipline, and organization.
  • Comfort with CRM and case‑management systems and with interpreting performance and compliance data.
Preferred
  • Experience with youth and justice‑involved or barrier‑facing populations.
  • Familiarity with CTE, apprenticeship, and multi‑site or partner‑based delivery.
  • Experience standing up or turning around a program operation.
  • Grant writing experience — developing proposals, renewals, and reports for public or foundation funders (a valued bonus).
Work environment

On‑site and field‑based across program sites, with regular evening and occasional weekend availability tied to program activities — including evening youth programming — and to grant deadlines. A high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct is required.

The pay range for this role is:

58,000 - 62,500 USD per year (MusicBreeds Arts HUB)
