Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a client’s statutory requirements related to conflict prevention and stabilization initiatives. The role focuses on program management, strategic advisory support, and stakeholder coordination to draft policy notes and reports while providing technical guidance to leadership.

The ideal candidate has an active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 5 years of related experience including foreign assistance work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with U.S. State Department, USAID, and/or Department of War including foreign assistance work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft department policy notes, action memos, briefing materials, and reports.
• Provide analytical, drafting, and coordination support for reporting requirements such as reports, spend plans, and performance updates.
• Provide technical expertise to client leadership on implementation and processes.
• Prepare and provide training on updated guidance for conflict and stabilization programming and related requirements.
• Support analysis of implementation efforts, refining processes and strengthening oversight structures.
• Manage agency discussions by coordinating information flows and resolving divergent viewpoints.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts including indicators and action plans.
• Other tasks as assigned.
