Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a seasoned Program/Project Manager within the Technology Workforce Strategy and Transformation team to drive program delivery and governance for major workforce initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders across Finance, HR and technology to align strategy with execution.

You will develop release plans, manage risks, and produce executive dashboards while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes in a dynamic, global IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience/training.
• 5+ years of program/project management experience.
• 3+ years scaling Agile to the program level or leading business activities in a complex program.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution knowledge and provide industry trends and analysis.
• Analyze program data and deliver reviews to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Deliver programs using Agile methods and best practices.
• Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve program issues.
• Lead change requests and provide leadership-level reporting and governance.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, HR and business teams for portfolio management and governance.
