Job summary

Smiths Detection is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee all aspects of programs for ports and borders, including civil works scoping, delivery, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, procurement and field services to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery and revenue realization.

The role requires 10+ years in program management, strong knowledge of government contracts, and the ability to lead in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related technology or business management.
• PMP accreditation.
• 10+ years of program management experience.
• Experience managing a cross-functional team indirectly.
• Understanding of global business and US government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination, management, and execution of all program activities.
• Lead design, testing, installation and training elements of the program.
• Drive program compliance, funding requests, billing, and contract modifications.
• Develop PM plans, define scope, plan costs and risk, procure and manufacture.
• Monitor risk and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and revenue realization.
