Job summary

Smiths Detection, part of Smiths Group, is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Ports and Borders in the United States. You will oversee coordination, management, and execution of all program activities, including civil works scope, delivery of products and services, risk, scheduling, and financial performance across the full lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years in program management, experience in manufacturing or engineering, and ability to travel up to 50%. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination, management and execution of all program activities, including civil works scoping, delivery of products and/or services, and demonstration of customer specification performance and quality.
• Lead contract deliverables including design, testing, installation and training elements.
• Work with government representatives to drive program compliance, funding requests, billing, contract modifications, and white papers.
• Develop PM plans, define scope, plan, cost and risk, procurement, manufacturing, QC and timely delivery.
• Escalate issues and risks per governance model and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
