Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead delivery across multiple energy-efficiency programs for a utility client. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and equity in sustainability careers.

You will coordinate partnerships, oversee staffing and budgets, and ensure reporting dashboards align with client expectations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or portfolio management experience in workforce development, contractor training, or client-facing implementation.
• 3+ years of direct and/or indirect people leadership experience.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, invoices, and resource plans.
• Background in energy efficiency, utility programs, or workforce development.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Proven track record leading multiple programs, cohorts, or workstreams.
• Detail-oriented, able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/reporting systems; able to translate data into decisions.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent programs and cohorts within the assigned MDI utility portfolio, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and performance.
• Serve as the senior program lead, balancing timelines, staffing, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Manage program elements: recruitment, onboarding, training, placement, and reporting integration.
• Coordinate partner networks, lead engagement with employers and vendors, and refine processes for efficiency.
• Own portfolio-level KPI reporting, client communications, and monthly financial review with leadership.
