Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead its most strategic production programs from opportunity to repeat production. You will own budgets, schedules, and cross-functional execution with customers, engineering, quality, and supply chain partners.

You will drive process improvements, develop standards and templates, and mentor other program managers. The role requires deep manufacturing experience and strong executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 12+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading production programs (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal, stamping, die casting, extrusion).
• Proven track record managing multiple complex programs ($5M+) from award through launch.
• Familiar with APQP and quality planning practices.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, scope, and financial results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of complex production programs from opportunity through repeat production.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Partners.
• Drive program efficiency and scalability with Lean principles and playbooks.
• Monitor KPIs, budget, schedule, and risk; communicate status to customers and leadership.
• Mentor and coach program managers and contribute to hiring.
