Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced program manager to lead large-scale construction projects and drive the program delivery teams.

You will develop and maintain the Program Management Plan, monitor progress, and keep executive leadership informed with accurate forecasts. The role requires extensive experience in building construction, strong contract and project accounting knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 to 20 years of direct Project Management/Construction Management experience in Building Construction Industry.
• Must manage very large and complex projects within time and budget constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the overall performance of Johnson Control’s larger projects.
• Develops the Program Management Plan and monitors progress against it.
• Identifies actions for deviation from the plan and ensures safety program compliance.
• Leads Project Delivery Teams and coordinates with Sponsors and stakeholders.
• Provides executive-level reporting on current and forecasted performance.
• Oversees subcontracting strategies and relationships with major subs.
• Ensures scope management and resource allocation meet objectives.
