Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Development Engineer to lead the Development Team on large projects, drive multi-disciplinary design, and ensure high-quality deliverables. You will mentor engineers, conduct detailed cost and energy analyses, and coordinate with customers and vendors to optimize bundled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required and PE/LEED credentials preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage development of projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with facility systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, process or financial support to sales during design and develop customer business cases.
• Lead data collection, auditing, modeling, budgets, schedules, and scope of work for opportunities.
• Develop energy savings and financial models (ROI) and assist with proposals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in development of bundled sale components.
• Perform engineering or financial analysis to quantify project cost savings and benefits.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain high quality workflow and compliance.
• Present to technical and economic buyers; support transitions with operations.
