Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior program manager in Huntsville, AL to lead complex defense programs with DoD clearance requirements. The role involves scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional leadership to meet customer objectives.

The candidate will coordinate with senior stakeholders, develop program dashboards (Tableau), and support proposal development and customer engagements throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, current within 6 years
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and SAP approval within a reasonable period
• Experience with project-management principles and execution of large, complex programs
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and engaging with senior customers

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison among project management, line management, and cross-functional teams to align program objectives
• Develop and monitor integrated program schedules, budgets, and risk registers; produce status reports and dashboards
• Support the creation and execution of Program Definition Documents and Integrated Baselines
• Manage Earned Value Management processes as Control Account Manager
• Facilitate program reviews, briefings, and presentations to senior leadership and customers
• Identify and resolve program issues and risks, implementing corrective actions to meet goals
