Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Project Engineer - Program Integration Manager (Lead or Senior) to steer cross-functional integration and certification for the 787 programs, coordinating internal teams, customers and regulators in support of program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience performing complex engineering or system integration work.
• 7+ years’ experience leading and/or managing complex projects.
• 5+ years’ of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Support 787 airplanes in-service, in-production and development.
• Lead special projects in safety, certification and performance.
• Work with FAA regulations and regulatory administration.
• Develop integrated plans and lead teams through customer introductions.
• Manage risk & opportunities and cross-functional issues.
• Lead cross-functional technical integration and project management.
• Conduct investigations to ensure system integration and safety.
• Communicate with customers, regulators and suppliers.
