Job summary

University of Massachusetts Boston is seeking a part-time Senior Program Assistant to provide a wide range of administrative and professional duties for the McCormack Graduate School. You will support the Director's Office, DOFFAR/DOSS programs, and events, coordinating calendars, budgets, and communications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in high-level administrative support, preferably in higher education, and may include evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of administrative and program assistance experience required; MA preferred.
  • Experience in high-level administrative support and support for special projects, preferably in a higher education setting, is required.
  • The position may require work during the evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program and funding opportunities for faculty and students.
  • Provide support for Director's Office initiatives and DOFFAR/DOSS programs.
  • Manage meetings, events, calendars, and correspondence for the Director's Office.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including budgeting, purchasing, and records management.
  • Liaise with CLA Dean's Office, department staff, and centers within the School.
