Job summary

Ultra Maritime is hiring a Program Finance leader to manage a high-performing team in Columbia City, IN. You will own the EAC process, publish CSR and lead quarterly finance reviews with executive visibility.

You will oversee budgeting, revenue recognition, invoicing, cash flow, and risk management while supporting bid/proposal activities and cost analyses to improve program performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent field; professional accountancy qualification an advantage.
• Experience with GAAP, IFRS accounting standards.
• Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and precise manner.
• Problem-solving skills to analyze performance and improve profitability.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP familiarity.
• Experience with OneStream and EPICOR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high performing Program Finance team based in Columbia City, IN.
• Own program Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and present compliant estimates.
• Publish Contract Status Reviews (CSRs) and communicate financial performance.
• Oversee Quarterly Finance Reviews (QFRs) with Executive Leadership visibility.
• Maintain timely program financials: revenue recognition, invoicing, costs, cash flow and risks.
• Perform variance and what-if analyses; support project management to resolve issues.
• Provide recurring and ad hoc reports to Program Managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely invoicing; resolve overdue invoices.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting; interface with FP&A.
• Be prime contact for audit materials and program cost management.
• Support month-end close and proposal pricing processes.
• Conduct cost analysis of labor and material bases; verify direct/indirect rates.
• Support bid/proposal activities; use pricing software/models to calculate costs and price.
