Job summary

Thorough-Staff LLC seeks a seasoned Program Finance leader to guide financial strategies for defense programs. You will partner with Program Managers to manage baselines, forecasts, and cost structures, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS/CAS and government reporting.

The role requires 5–7 years in program finance within defense/aerospace, strong ERP and COBRA experience, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams. On-site role with exposure to EVMS processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
5–7 years of progressive program finance experience, defense/aerospace preferred.
Strong knowledge of government accounting standards: FAR/DFARS/CAS.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, modeling).
Hands-on EVMS experience; COBRA preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial guidance to Program Managers and CAMs to drive performance and risk mitigation.
Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, and cash-flow forecasting.
Lead development of program financial strategies, baselines, and long-range plans.
Prepare monthly financial reports, EACs/ETCs, and internal PM reporting packages.
Ensure cost monitoring and compliance with budgets and government requirements.
