Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions in Yaphank, NY, seeks a seasoned Program Finance Lead to guide cost and revenue strategy for defense programs. You’ll partner with PMs and CAMs to optimize budgets, baselines, and forecasting, ensuring FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance.

Responsibilities include EVMS implementation, EACs/ETCs, and detailed financial reporting, while driving process improvements across ERP data, COBRA and reporting workflows to strengthen program performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years progressive experience in program finance, preferably within defense/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables).
• Hands-on EVMS experience; COBRA experience preferred.
• Ability to partner with Program Management and executive leadership.
• US Person or export eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance to Program Managers and CAMs to drive strong financial performance, cost control, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, funding status, gross margin analysis, and cash-flow forecasting.
• Lead development of program financial strategies, baselines, long-range plans, and scenario analyses.
• Manage monthly financial reports, EACs/ETCs, and internal program reporting packages.
• Ensure weekly cost monitoring and compliance with budgets, charging structures, and government accounting (FAR/DFARS/CAS).
• Direct development and maintenance of WBS structures, budgets, schedules, and baseline control documentation.
• Provide leadership for EVMS implementation and CDRL reporting.
• Serve as the financial lead for proposals, including cost-volume pricing, BOEs, and audit support.
• Identify and drive process improvements across program finance, including ERP data integrity, forecasting, and reporting efficiency.
• Compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
