Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Sunrise, FL seeks a Financial Analyst III to develop and maintain program financial plans across multiple products. You’ll partner with Program Management, Planning, Operations and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and financial execution.

In this role you’ll analyze cost and revenue performance, support accruals, and provide visibility through financial reporting to leadership. Government procurement rules impact daily work and process improvements are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, or reporting in FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of program financial plans and forecasts with cross-functional teams.
• Liaises between Finance, Planning, Operations and Program Management for alignment.
• Monitors progress of program requirements and analyzes cost/revenue performance.
• Supports accrual analyses by tracking inventory, WIP and movements affecting reporting.
• Prepares financial analysis/reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
• Conducts complex analyses (variance, risk, profit/loss).
• Performs non-routine analysis and reports.
• Drives process improvements across reporting and data flows.
• Takes ownership of work products and collaborates cross-functionally.
