Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Financial Analyst III to develop and maintain program financial plans for multiple products and business areas. You will collaborate with Program Management, Planning, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment between activities and financial outcomes, while supporting revenue tracking and forecasting accuracy.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, FP&A experience, and knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle; ITAR/EAR considerations apply to export-controlled programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required or equivalent
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, program finance, or government contracting environments preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large datasets and complex models
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise data environments (e.g., Oracle)

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of program financial plans and forecasts with cross-functional teams
• Liaises between Finance, Planning, Operations and Program Management to align efforts
• Monitors progress of program requirements and analyzes cost and revenue performance
• Performs variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses; prepares non-routine financial reports
• Tracks inventory, WIP, and operational movements affecting financial reporting
• Drives process improvements across reporting tools and data flows
