Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop and maintain program financial plans across multiple products and business areas. You will partner with Program Finance, Planning, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, revenue tracking, and financial execution.

The role requires extensive experience in FP&A, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of ERP systems. You will support internal stakeholders and leadership with insightful financial analyses in a dynamic

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, or reporting in a program finance, operations finance, or FP&A environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including ability to work with large datasets and complex models.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program financial plans and forecasts by partnering with Finance, Planning, Operations, and Subcontracts.
Act as liaison across Finance, Planning, Operations, and Program Management to ensure alignment.
Monitor progress of program requirements and analyze cost and revenue performance vs. plan.
Support accrual-related analysis by tracking inventory, WIP, and movements affecting financial reporting.
Prepare financial analyses and reporting for internal stakeholders and leadership visibility.
