Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Program Engineering Execution Lead within Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) to guide end‑to‑end program execution and cross‑functional team leadership on a full‑time on‑site basis.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP, with 8+ years in technical programs, IPT leadership, EVMS, and schedules, and a track record of delivering complex defense systems to schedule and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, Master’s with 6+, or PhD with 4+ years in STEM fields.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain SAP.
• Experience leading IPTs or equivalent leadership roles in programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering team through proposal, design, manufacturing and delivery phases.
• Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts.
• Interpret statements of work from program leadership.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, EVMS, EACs and workload forecasts.
• Interface with functional departments to secure staffing.
• Brief internal and customer leadership on progress.
