Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Advanced Land Sensors Operating Unit - Engineering Program Execution Lead in Baltimore, MD. The role will direct a cross-functional team of Chief Engineers, EPMs, and SEIT Leads, overseeing end-to-end program execution and ensuring technical performance, staffing, and risk mitigation across the ALS portfolio.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance to meet milestones, manage budgets and schedules (EVMS, EACs), and brief leadership

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with extensive engineering experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience directing multi-function engineering teams with budgets and schedules.
• Experience as CAM managing EVMS projects.
• Ability to obtain SAP access and work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering execution across the ALS portfolio as the lead for all execution activities.
• Lead a cross-functional engineering leadership team through proposal, design, build, and delivery.
• Maintain awareness of engineering challenges and ensure robust risk mitigation plans.
• Provide technical leadership on cost, schedule, and technical quality commitments.
• Institute reviews, issue tracking, and standardized processes for engineering excellence.
• Manage budgets and schedules including EVMS, EACs, and staffing forecasts.
• Interface with Engineering Discipline Sections to secure staffing and brief leadership on progress.
