Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Program Chief Engineer (PCE) to lead engineering on a DoD-funded communications program in Marlborough, MA. The PCE is the single Engineering contact for requirements, scope, costs, and schedule, coordinating with Program Office and external customers.

You will drive execution, cost control, staffing, and risk management across engineering teams while delivering on EACs and program milestones. This is an onsite role requiring a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Engineer, Project Engineer, or IPT Lead.
• Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with a focus on communications systems.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution for the program and act as the Engineering point of contact.
• Conduct EBRs and EPRs for program governance.
• Support PMRs for all Engineering matters and manage budgets/schedules.
• Develop Estimates at Completion with CAMs and ensure staffing accuracy.
• Provide status reports and oversee risks and opportunities across engineering.
