Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks an experienced Program Chief Engineer (PCE) to lead engineering on a state-of-the-art communications program. You will own scope, cost, and schedule, serving as the single engineering contact and coordinating with the Program Office and customer.

The role requires strong experience across engineering disciplines, EVMS, and lifecycle management, with leadership across teams to drive execution, staffing, and risk management. onsite in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Program Manager or IPT Lead.
• Experience across multiple engineering disciplines, esp. communications systems development.
• Experience in EVMS and development lifecycle.
• Experience in Risk and Opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution and decision authority for engineering activities.
• Lead Engineering Bid Reviews (EBRs) and Engineering Program Reviews (EPRs).
• Support PMRs for all engineering matters and manage budget/schedule.
• Develop Estimates at Completion (EAC) with CAMs and coordinate staffing forecasts.
• Provide status reports to program and engineering organizations.
