Job summary

The Catholic Social Services in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Program Director II to provide leadership for the ASAM Level 3.1 residential treatment program at the Brother Francis Shelter Campus. Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related field.
• Three years of experience in a therapeutic residential, addictions, and/or mental health outpatient setting.
• Obtain Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) approval within three years of the Provisional Provider Application approval date with the State of Alaska.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational oversight for the ASAM Level 3.1 residential substance use treatment program.
• Lead implementation of the new residential treatment program, including workflows, staffing structures, service expectations, and procedures.
• Supervise, support, and evaluate program staff across clinical, peer support, case management, and direct service roles.
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with ASAM Level 3.1 standards, SAMHSA grant requirements, Medicaid, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality, CSS policies, and applicable regulations.
• Promote high-quality, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally responsive care.
• Coordinate with CSS leadership, Brother Francis Shelter operations, providers, housing partners, and community partners for integrated care.
• Monitor program quality, participant outcomes, service delivery, documentation compliance, and grant deliverables.
• Develop and maintain systems for participant referral, admission, service planning, discharge planning, and housing connections.
