Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead large, complex EHV transmission and distribution programs from our Tulsa, OK office, with regular travel to client sites across a multi-state territory. The role emphasizes embedded client support, regional coordination, and reliable execution while guiding project controls and governance.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in engineering-driven program management, deep knowledge of delivery models, and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related major, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of post-education experience in project/program management in power/energy industry.
• Experience in delivering large-scale utility/capital infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex, largest-scale projects, managing budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Engage clients and stakeholders with clear, timely reporting on progress.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and governance.
• Provide day-to-day client interface and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure governance, safety, quality, reporting, and decision processes are followed.
• Develop project initiation and governance documentation (RMP/ PMP/ QP/ PSP).
