Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Director in Trenton, MO to lead a business unit, ensure services meet quality and compliance standards, and drive operational excellence. The role includes overseeing fiscal performance, grant activity, and KPI achievement while building strong relationships with referral partners and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring behavioral health leadership experience, a solid clinical operations background, and a track record of improving program outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience in a healthcare system, or five years of behavioral healthcare experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience leading behavioral health initiatives and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal performance and compliance across the assigned business unit.
• Identify funding opportunities and support expansion or enhancement of services.
• Manage grant processes and ensure timely invoicing and reporting.
• Maintain KPI tracking and variance reporting; ensure audit readiness.
