Job summary

RTX seeks a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls Analyst within the OSQ Finance organization to oversee supply chain financials for NAM Portfolio. You will partner with the Business Office and Program Operations Manager to drive cost performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience understanding cost allocation across bases, organizations or products.
• Experience in a business finance or finance role in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create Estimates at Complete (EACs) quarterly, including costs, risks and opportunities.
• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, and analysis support to GSCM leaders.
• Prepare program financial forecasts and explain variances to plans.
• Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly cost accumulation methods for materials.
• Support cost reduction projects leveraging manufacturing and functional expertise.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for new proposals and provide rationale.
