Job summary

The University of Texas' McCombs School of Business seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to support Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Private Equity Center by coordinating events, programs, and communications. You will partner with Directors, faculty, and industry partners to plan and execute events, manage budgets, marketing, and student programs, and help grow the Center's brand across platforms.

Applicants need a Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, plus strong communication and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience coordinating programs and/or events, both large and small.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency with software, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, market, and execute Center events in collaboration with Directors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily center operations, budgets, reports, and travel arrangements.
• Maintain relationships with industry professionals and stakeholders to expand opportunities for students.
• Represent the Center at industry events and promote its brand and programs.
• Support development of student programs and cocurricular learning opportunities.
• Monitor budget status and develop reporting schedules for Center leadership.
